Just the other day, I said to myself, Self, how lucky you are June is almost two and has never been sick. I mean, she’s been sick with pink eye and colds and that stuff, but she’s never had the flu. We’re so lucky!
Well, our luck ran out. Last night she woke up with a fever, was crying and carrying on and vomited all over her loving mother. So today we’re going to the doctor. And wouldn’t you know it — Solha is scheduled to get on a plane either today or tomorrow.
It should be an exciting remainder of the week…that’s one word for it anyway.

Oh my Jessie! Please let us know how she is – will be thinking of both of you.
Mama – you can do this! You’ve survived everything else this year (and so has June and Solha) – you’ll figure this out too. Usually stomach things like this only last a day or two…she’ll be feeling better in no time – just make sure that you are pumping your vitamins and washing your hands and lysoling everything so that YOU don’t get the bug. You are strong…I’ve been reading about your whole journey here and I know that you, June and Solha will be fine.
You should have added “puke” to the “pee and poop” comments for your previous post. Little did you know.
Hope little June is on the mend soon, and that Solha arrives when June is better.
Wow.. when things started moving.. they REALLY started fast. I didn’t think the dog would be able to get through so quickly!
The good news is kids usually get over these things very quickly. Good luck with everything.
Dear Jessie,
Shelby said it all. You, June, Jake AND of course Solha are in my thoughts. Be strong!
D–n it, I wanted to be the one to remind you of the nonchalant gonna be alright cleanin’ up this an that with June and Solha. Hope she feels better quick.
