I’m not a bartender. I wouldn’t even call myself a “mixologist.” But I do enjoy a good cocktail, and lately I’ve become kinda obsessed with concocting my own (or more like adapting heavily from other recipes). But making a good cocktail, I’ve discovered, is a bit more involved than dumping a bunch of liquids in a glass and coming up with a catchy name (The Kool Aid Kick! Um. No.)

Jessie, I got your book on Thursday and on Friday night the power went out….for four days (I’m in Ohio) and as difficult as it all was, with no power or water, I still enjoyed bedtime in my stifling house with my Itty Bitty Booklight reading your book. I loved the book, loved how you told the story, loved your cowboy and cried over your Cowboy pup’s death. (what happend to Sunny, did you say in the book? Did I fall asleep in that part?) Love your dear little girl. I hope you write more books. And I hope your power is back on
P.S. where do you sell your aprons?
maggie
Hey, Maggie! Thank you for the very nice feedback! I don’t sell my aprons because each one takes me so long to make (I’m not the fastest sewer) I’d have to sell them for like $300 each! Ha!
