Oh, yes, dear readers….this is really happening. This is not a dream. This is reality.
This is a pizza taco….a pizza folded over….into a taco….accessorized with special sauce and shredded lettuce, or as Charlie’s PizzaTaco website proclaims, “a baked pizza with the style of a taco.”
I’ll run out for coffee while you collect your brain from the floor.
Where does such awesomeness exist, you wonder? In the ‘Ta, of course…Wichita. Where most cool things originate. I had one the other week while in town for a book event and I’ve been dreaming about one ever since.

That looks good, but in the picture, it looks like a very large, messy portion. I think it would be good made smaller with smaller pieces of pizza dough, to be easier to eat.
That is a good looking taco. Guys named Charlie know their tacos!
(hahahahaha) I was reading this blog entry at work and began laughing so hard that I started choking on my mini rolos. My male co-worker was so worried that he was going to have to perform the heimlich he told me I couldn’t read it at work anymore. I still do of course, just not with food in my mouth.
