You may wonder if this house just landed in our yard from the magical land of Oz.
Alas, no, dear friends. It’s the mobile hen hut Jake’s been building for the past couple of weeks.
Last night he hooked it up to our commercial lawn mower to see if it’s light enough for me to pull around the yard. Turns out it was, but just barely. The mower struggled to make it up a .5 percent incline from the driveway to the front yard.
Our property is somewhat hilly and I have visions of yours truly being dragged backward by the weight of this hen FORTRESS into a rather treacherous sink hole that’s a fixture of our yard.
I am scared.
The front door features a window. Jake installed four windows on the entire structure. Because that is how our hens like to roll.
Can you believe this thing is on TWO wheels? Surely it requires another axle. Right?
