I never got around to giving June a proper nursery when she was a baby and I almost feel bad about it. I know, I know, it’s dumb and superficial to ruminate over such stuff; she doesn’t know she was deprived of monogrammed crib sheets, so why should I care?

The underlying reason I feel bad is because that time of her life is already over, gone, never to return, and I didn’t take the time to give it its proper due.

I’m really against wall to wall carpeting, its very hard to clean and keep clean and keeps all sorts of dust and allergens in it. A rug is easier to clean, and can always be removed easily as June grows up and her tastes change.

Just wanted to let you know I saw a new issue of Domino yesterday and thought of you… I was in line to make a payment on our Lowes card and saw it over the cashier’s shoulder on the magazine rack. I also was very sad the day Domino stopped:( And they substituted some awful cosmo or something for the rest of the subscription! Anyways I hope you can find it – I’m in Brevard, NC so let me know if you can’t and I will totally send one your way!
