We had a great, full fall weekend. The sun was shining and the tree tops are starting to burnish.
October has to be one of my favorite months of the year — the air is cool, the colors are amazing, apples and pumpkins are everywhere, and it’s Jake’s birthday this month. He turns the big 2-5! (I kid, I kid, he’s somewhat older.)
Jake and June went on a harvest hike together, we all attended a wedding, and June and I took a long morning stroll with a bunch of girlfriends (and yogis in training, see below) while Jake made more headway on the barn.

Apple picking, clothes on the line, and a kid’s soccer game. Gorgeous morning but heavy rain during soccer warm-up. Clothes in the dryer in the end. Bummer!
