June’s new bedroom carpet finally arrived from the Home Depot and I love it!
As you can see, it’s pretty basic — a midtone with no pattern — which was the look I’m after.
As I get older (and collect more junk), I find I crave that airy, minimalist feeling that light colors and clean patterns foster…which I know will go to hell once June gets her first Play Doh ice cream maker, but I can dream, can’t I?

It looks very very nice Jessie but I’m curious – what does June think of her new bedroom?
To be honest, other than occasionally pointing to the walls and saying, “Mommy, paint? Mommy, paint?” she seems pretty oblivious to my attempts to provide her with a staggeringly chic toddler lair.
