As Hurricane Sandy marches up the East Coast, it looks like those of us in south central Virginia will be spared. Today, the sky is overcast and blustery with some spattering of rain — an otherwise “normal” October day. Here, Jake was able to do more on the barn over the weekend in anticipation of the rainy week ahead. To everyone in the Hurricane’s path — our thoughts and prayers are with you this week.

The barn is looking really good. Did Jake make the scaffolding across the ladders or is that someone one can buy? If it is still up, would you mind taking a closer picture of it?
