Like a lot of parents, Jake and I are constantly switching the car seat between cars.
Several times a week — depending on whose day it is to pick June up from preschool — the car seat switches from my Passat, a.k.a. the gentle, unglamorous “mom car” to the terrifying monstrosity you see here.

June is a lucky girl. Pulling up to the Montessori school in a big Dodge truck is a sweet ride indeed!
Well, the kids know not to mess with her, anyway.
I had occasion to once strap my kid into a quad axle Mack dump truck when I’d agreed to do a bit of part time work for my former employer after she was born. A Mack day cab is not really designed for a car seat, sadly. I think June is a lucky little girl!
