In a few minutes, I’m leaving my humble abode to bomb up to New York City to appear as a guest on The Katie Couric show. I’m kind of freaking out because a) it’s Katie Couric b) it’s Katie Couric and c) it’s Katie Freakin’ Couric, an American icon capable of tongue tying luminaries, politicians and Al Roker. This woman is a force to be reckoned with.
Read the episode synopsis here. Barring some national disaster, the episode is scheduled to air Friday Jan. 11 on ABC at around 3 p.m EST (though check your local listings).

Well dang. I should have checked the blog today. I went to the library to attend your reading, and that’s where I found out about the Katie thing.
However, the library was hosting a meeting of the Rockbridge County Tea Party at the same time as your cancelled appearance. What a missed opportunity! A roomful of your fans and the TP comingling in the library at an impromptu after party. I would have paid for that.
Congrats on getting invited to the Katie show! I’m sure you were great. Will be watching Friday. Hope to meet you myself, sometime. Maybe when The Aryan Agrarians comes out.
