Depressed? Sad? Anxious? Life got you down? There is hope. Ice cream. One scoop a day can reduce symptoms such as these. Contact your doctor freezer if you’d like to try happy pills ice cream. Side effects may include weight gain, sugar highs, chocolate mouth, trouble buttoning your pants and a strange willingness to sit through long hours of terrible television.
Prescription: Take one warm, just pulled from the oven homemade chocolate chip cookie, ideally one dusted with a smidge of kosher salt. Crumble it into a bowl. Top with one big scoop of Jenni Britton Bauer’s chocolate ice cream* and another big scoop of Gianduja Gelato. What is Gianduja? You ask. Oh, nothing, I reply. JUST HAZELNUTS STEEPED IN CHOCOLATE, a.k.a. NUTELLA ICE CREAM, the tastiest gelato I have ever eaten and if I died today, I’d be happy.
(* Please note the typo correction at the bottom of this recipe. The first time I made is, I used the called for quarter cup cream, which turned out to be inaccurate. The ice cream was still tasty, but it was like eating frozen chocolate mousse. The correct amount of cream is actually 1 cup.)
No sads here.

It is the same people making all these ice creams who adulterate their orange juice with water??
