I’m a big believer in breakfast.
Last night, Jake made a batch of dense oatmeal muffins.
They contain enough whole grain to make me feel like I’m eating somewhat healthfully and enough brown sugar and butter and pecans to make it really hard to stick to just one.
So I ate two. Okay, one and a half. June ate some as well.
Spread with a little creamed honey that can be pressed into any fallen crumbly bits is pure heaven.

We made these muffins a few weeks ago and they are amazing! Ours didn’t look as pretty as yours did, though. Nice job.
Ha ha, thanks, I just take the pictures. Jake does ALLLL the baking at our house (I don’t like baking for some reason).
Your husband sure can bake a muffin! They look totally fab. And with creamed honey? Oh my.
