Motherhood in January

by Jessie K on January 12, 2014

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERALast night, Katie and I went to a friend’s party from 7 to 10 p.m. chatting, eating, cuddling and nursing (in an upstairs bedroom). I wore my most glamorous flannel shirt and alpine sweater. Jake stayed home with June, which did not go over well with June. It was the first indication of sibling jealousy I’ve seen.

January is a great month to be a new mom — it’s too cold/dreary to do anything but it’s also kind of terrible because you end up hibernating more than you’d like to.┬áIt felt good to get out and see friends for a few hours.
