The soldiers attempt to build new office space as Solha decides it’s a better time for rough housing.
Does this look like a puppy who nearly died from a snake bite?
Nope, not in the slightest. ”Take that, snake!”
Jake tries to calm down the ferocious attack dog.
Ferocious like a butterfly.

Awwww. I miss Jake. Can he bring Solha home?
ohhhhhh she’s so beautiful, i just want to put her in my pocket!
i’m so glad that she and the soldiers have each other — in such a harsh environment, every excuse to remember and exhibit love is a blessing.
*namaste*
What a happy ending to THAT story!
She looks amazingly beautiful. I hope that Jake can bring her home. She sure has come a long way from that beraggled slip of a dog to the happy puppy she now seems to be. Truly a blessing.
Yeah…is Jake going to be able to bring her home???
I am so glad you shared this! Sure brought a smile to my face seeing these pictures.
Jake looks great.. so glad you get so much contact with him, though it’s never like him being home I’m sure.. we pray for you guys often!
Love the picture of Solha “boxing” with the soldier. What an awesome dog! Hope Jake can bring her home.
I hope he can figure out how to bring her home. I remember reading a story in the stars and strips about a soldier trying to bring his dog back from Iraq and then the dog finally shows up a few weeks later after being quarantined.
Maybe Jake can make friends with some MPs and they can bring him home as a police dog!
I love the photo where she’s play-bowing.. dogs are the same all around the world!
